Event provides opportunity for customers to discuss technology and business issues with Arrow and suppliers
Arrow Electronics has opened registration for its annual ‘Norwegian Customer Day’, which this year will take place in Oslo on 2nd June. This popular event - which concludes with a sightseeing boat trip around the Oslo fjord - provides an opportunity for customers to meet Arrow and its suppliers and to find out about the latest technology and business issues.
Brian McNally, the president of Arrow’s EMEA components business, will provide a keynote address and during the day there will be seminars covering semiconductors, embedded design, PEMCO (passive, electromechanical and connector) technologies and business and market issues. The event will also include a panel debate involving Arrow, STMicroelectronics, Tyco Electronics, Samsung, Texas Instruments and NXP Semiconductors, which will cover topics ranging from the supply chain to market trends.
As in previous years, the event will host the presentation of the annual ‘Vebjørn Tandberg Prize’. This prestigious award - which this year focuses on M2M technologies – is a joint initiative involving Arrow and other key organisations in the Norwegian electronics industry. The prize rewards innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship by providing the winning company with a combination of cash and business support worth a total of 350,000NOK.
Following the formal element of the seminar Arrow invites all attendees to join them for a boat trip through the Oslo fjords, where they will be joined by leading Norwegian TV personality, Jan Erik Larssen.
