Turvallisuusstandardit elekroniikassa

Tervetuloa Arrowin "Functional safety" seminaariin.

Seminaarin tarkoituksena on valmistaa suomalaiset elektroniikkaosaajat IEC61508 ja IEC60730 standardien käyttöönottoon. Standardien ja suunnittelumetodien osaaminen on jatkossa vahva kilpailuvaltti yhä kovenevassa kilpailussa markkinoilla.

Functional Safety for Electronic Designs

Functional safety is receiving increased attention through stricter legislation and new and updated international standards. These updates reflect both an increasing attention from the public, as well as advances in research and industry. Machines with embedded electronic systems are performing more and more advanced functions, vehicles are becoming autonomous and machines can operate unshielded. While new functionalities promise enhanced safety and improved performance, they are also associated with new faults, failure modes and risks.

This Arrow Electronics seminar will help shed light on evolving and emerging laws and safety standards for vehicles and machines, and will introduce microcontroller and software solutions now available to comply with the standards. The aim is to provide answers to questions such as:

• What is the status of legislation and standards?
• Where should I go for help? How can I approach a compliant design?
